If your Google reviews appear on Google but not on your website, first check whether the problem affects one recent review or the entire review block. A missing new review may be a refresh or display-limit issue; an empty block may point to installation or loading. Treat these as different checks.
Keep the public Google listing and the published page open side by side. Use the public website, not only a preview inside your editor.
1. Confirm that both places refer to the same business
Compare the listing name, address and linked Google page with the source configured in your review tool. Similar business names and multiple branches can cause an apparently convincing mismatch. Find one identifiable review by its date and text to compare the two sources. To build the feedback available, learn how to ask your guests for new reviews; this will not fix a loading problem.
If the review is also absent from Google itself, investigate that first. Google’s guidance on missing or delayed reviews explains that moderation and profile changes can affect availability. Reinstalling a website widget will not restore a review that is missing from its original source.
2. Check when the source was last refreshed
A widget does not necessarily update at the same instant as Google. Check the refresh interval for your plan and any source status shown in your account. Note when the review appeared on Google and compare that with the last completed refresh, if available.
TurIA Reviews Free refreshes weekly. A recently published Google review may therefore not appear immediately. Wait for the expected refresh before treating a short delay as a fault; if it has passed, gather the source and page details for support.
3. Check what the widget is allowed to display
The total number of reviews on a business listing is not necessarily the number of cards visible on your page. Review the display quantity, sort order and any filters available in the tool you use. A review can exist in the source without being among the cards currently selected for display.
TurIA Reviews Free displays up to 10 reviews per widget and supports one language. Those are plan limits, not evidence that Google has lost the other reviews. Avoid promising that every review will always be visible.
4. If the whole block is missing, inspect the installation
- Check that the correct embed was saved in the published page and in a block that supports its code.
- Open the same page on a phone and another browser to see whether the issue is specific to one environment.
- Check whether a consent manager, content blocker or recent performance change is preventing the external resource from loading. Preserve the site’s consent requirements.
- If you manage the site, refresh its page cache after a corrected installation. Avoid changing several settings at once.
Keep a copy of the current embed before changing it. If you do not maintain the website yourself, send these checks to the person who does.
What to send to support
Include the public page URL, Google listing link, review date, when you first noticed the issue and whether one review or the entire block is missing. Add a screenshot of the visible issue and describe the browsers tested. Do not send passwords or private booking data.
